Asbestos-containing Materials and Lead Paint Removal

The Thomas County Board of Commissioners is soliciting proposals from contractors who are certified for the removal of asbestos containing material and lead paint in the Thomas County Historical Courthouse, built in 1858.
Proposals must be returned in a sealed container marked on the outside with the project name and Company name. Proposals will be received until 5:00 p.m. EDT on Monday, January 11, 2010 at the office of the Thomas County Board of Commissioners, 110 North Crawford Street, Thomasville, Georgia 31799. A list of submitters will be available by calling the County as (229) 225-4100.
All questions regarding the proposal shall be submitted in writing to Twink Monahan, County Clerk, by fax at 226-3430, or email at tcbcpur@rose.net no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2010.
Selection criteria to be included in the Proposal shall include a Letter of Interest, a List of Qualifications, Corporate Information, Project Team Information, References, and Project Experience. All proposals shall be based on the Inspection Report prepared by Huber Engineering Company, Inc., dated October 24, 2009 available at the office of the Thomas County Board of Commissioners, 110 North Crawford Street, Thomasville, GA or download at the following link.

The Board reserves the right to reject any and all submittals, to waive technicalities and to make an award deemed in the best interest of the people of Thomas County, as provided by Georgia law.
All submitting companies will be notified in writing of the award. |
