Sealed proposals will be received at the Thomas
County Board of Commissioners Office, located at 110 N. Crawford
Street, Thomasville, Georgia until 5:00 p.m. on June 13,
2011 for the following
project: Thomas County Historical Courthouse Renovation – Access
and Security RFP #TCHC-2011-28-1300-14 (Provide and Install Access
and Security Systems in accordance with the Project Manual Plans and
Specifications).
Proposal forms, plans, and specifications are on
file at or may be obtained for a $485.00 per set non-refundable fee
with two working days’ notice at the Thomas County Historical
Courthouse Construction Trailer, 104 W. Jefferson Street, Thomasville,
GA.
An electronic copy of the plans and specifications on a CD
may be obtained for a $150 per CD non-refundable fee.
The offeror will be required to sign a certification
statement at purchase of the CD that the electronic copy of the
plans and specifications on the CD is copyrighted material for use
by the offeror only on the Thomas County Historical Courthouse
Renovation Project, and that it will be used to generate no more
than one complete set of printed plans.
Each proposal must be submitted in a sealed
envelope addressed to M. Twink Monahan, Purchasing Agent at
110 N. Crawford Street,
Thomasville, GA.,
and marked as follows:
Thomas County Historical Courthouse
Renovation – Access and Security RFP #TCHC-2011-28-1300-14 (Provide
and Install Access and Security Systems in accordance with the
Project Manual Plans and Specifications). Proposals received
after this time will not be considered.
Each sealed envelope containing a proposal must be plainly
marked on the outside as “Proposal for Thomas County Historical
Courthouse Renovation – Access and Security RFP
#TCHC-2011-28-1300-14 (Provide and Install Access and Security
Systems in accordance with the Project Manual Plans and
Specifications).and should include the offeror’s name, address
and license number, if applicable.
All proposals must be typewritten or handwritten in ink and
contain all of the requested information.
Thomas
County reserves the right
to accept or reject all proposals or any proposal that is
non-responsive or not responsible, to waive technicalities or
informalities, and to issue change orders altering the original
scope of work to address changes or unforeseen conditions necessary
for the project completion.
A mandatory pre-proposal conference is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on _ May 19, 2011_ at
the Thomas CountyJudicial Center, Grand Jury Room, 325 N. Madison Street, Thomasville, GA.
