Board of Directors Meeting

July 21, 2003

Board Members Present: Earl Williams, Chairman, J. Elaine Mays, and Roy Campbell

Others: Mike Stephenson, County Manager

Chairman Earl Williams called the meeting to order and opened with prayer.

A letter from Simmons & Simmons was presented to the board for permission to start the audit for the ESA. Roy Campbell asked the price. Fees will be standard fees for the service rendered. A discussion followed on the way the report was done last year. Mike Stephenson explained that the report was handled as an Enterprise Fund instead of a Governmental fund format. Mr. Campbell made a motion to accept the service of Simmons & Simmons, seconded by Elaine Mays. Motion was carried.

ACCG had charges (2) for defending the suit of Robin Hurst alleging gender discrimination in the amount of $1,182.30 and $572.04. Also, the City of Thomasville-Insurance Claims from 5/14-06/30/03 for $16,552.80. Motion to pay these bills by Elaine Mays and seconded by Roy Campbell. Motion carried.
