Chairman Ricky Smith called the meeting to order and Earl Williams opened with prayer.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Roy Campbell made a motion to approve the minutes from the 1/18/01 Board meeting. Bobby Brown seconded the motion. With all in favor, the motion carried.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Earl Williams made a motion to close the meeting to discuss future acquisition of real estate. Bobby Brown seconded the motion. The meeting closed.

MEETING RE-OPENED

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jack Smith stated that he had received a proposal from TRS , a wireless communications firm, to conduct a survey on the county-wide coverage of the 800, VHF systems,and the tower. After discussion, Ervin Brock made a motion to authorize Executive Director Jack Smith to contract with TRS Wireless to conduct a county coverage survey at a cost of $8250.00. Roy Campbell seconded the motion. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Earl Williams made a motion to adjourn. Roy Campbell seconded the motion. The meeting adjourned.
