The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jim Miller.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Mayor Campbell made a motion to close the meeting and go into Executive Session. This motion was seconded by Josh Herring. The closed session began.

TCESB MEETING REOPENED

CAPITAL BUDGET

Executive Director Smith urged the TCESB to act on the approval of the Capital Budget as soon as possible. A lengthy discussion ensued about the E-911 building and dispatching radios, Fire and Rescue vehicles, and EMS equipment. After this discussion, Josh Herring made a motion to approve purchases for Fire, EMS, and E-911 totaling $106,390. The approved items are to be bought on a bid basis specifically approved by the Board. The motion was seconded by Roy Campbell. With no opposition, the motion passed.

Funding of Capital Budget items was talked about. After discussing several options, the Board decided to address this at a later date.

There being no other business, the TCESB meeting adjourned at 7:40PM.
